## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: THE OWNER PILOT OF N8044J HAD RETURNED TO KSNA FROM AN INSTRUMENT PRACTICE PERIOD AND DECIDED TO REMAIN IN THE KSNA TRAFFIC PATTERN FOR TOUCH & GO LANDINGS. HE MADE HIS FIRST TOUCH & GO LANDING ON RUNWAY 19R, THEN CHANGED TO LEFT TRAFFIC FOR RUNWAY 19L. DURING THE ROLLOUT OF HIS SECOND TOUCH & GO (THE FIRST ON 19L), HE INADVERTENTLY RETRACTED THE LANDING GEAR INSTEAD OF THE FLAPS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
