## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON DECEMBER 10, 1996, AT APPROXIMATELY 2025 CST, A MOONEY M-20G, N6868N, WAS SUBSTANTIALLY DAMAGED WHEN A FULL SIZE PICKUP TRUCK COLLIDED WITH IT. THE AIRPORT USES THE TAXIWAY AS ITS MAIN ACCESS ROAD. THE AIRCRAFT WAS TRAVELING NORTH ON THE TAXIWAY TO RUNWAY 14. THE PICKUP TRUCK DRIVEN BY MISS MOLLY LEIGH COFRE WAS TRAVELING SOUTH ON THE TAXIWAY TO RUNWAY 14. THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME THAT MISS COFER HAD OPERATED AT THIS AIRPORT. SHE IDENTIFIED THE ONCOMING SINGLE HEADLIGHT AS A MOTORCYCLE AND PASSED TO THE RIGHT OF THE LIGHT. THE WING OF THE MOONEY ENTERED THE WINDSHIELD OF THE PICKUP TRUCK AND ALL 3 OCCUPANTS OF THE TRUCK WERE INJURED. HICKS AIRFIELD (T67) IS A PRIVATE AIRPORT THAT IS USED BY THE PUBLIC. AIRPORT FUNDS ARE NOT USED AND THE AIRPORT IS NOT CERTIFICATED.
