## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: WHILE ENROUTE ON A RETURN PART 91 FLIGHT, THE ENGINE LOST POWER AND STOPPED. AN EMERGENCY LANDING WAS MADE WITH THE ASSISTANCE OF PEORIA APPROACH CONTROL. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED IN A FIELD 1/2 MILE SHORT OF (MQB) MACOMB, IL AIRPORT. THE AIRCRAFT RECEIVED MINOR DAMAGE TO THE RIGHT GEAR DOOR ONLY. THE APPROPRIATELY RATED PILOT WITH A VALID MEDICAL CERTIFICATE WAS ENROUTE TO LANSING, MI FROM KANSAS CITY, MO. AIRWORTHINESS; A FOLLOW-UP M OR D REPORT WILL BE FILED WHEN THE ENGINE TEAR DOWN IS COMPLETED. AN ENGINE TEARDOWN IS BEING COORDINATED WITH RICH MILEHAM OF THE DPA FSDO (GL03) TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE FOR STOPPAGE. DURING THIS INVESTIGATION, THE ENGINE WAS FOUND SEIZED WITH NO VISIBLE SIGNS FOR THE CAUSE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
