## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON DECEMBER 21, 1996, AT APPROXIMATELY 1500 HOURS, N3772Y, A CESSNA 210 MADE A GEAR-UP LANDING AT CORONA MUNICIPAL AIRPORT. THE PILOT-IN-COMMAND, THE SOLE OCCUPANT, WAS JACK D. SCHUMAN, A PRIVATE PILOT. THERE WERE NO INJURIES AND THE AIRCRAFT SUFFERED MINOR DAMAGE TO THE SKIN AND PROPELLER. THE PILOT WAS ON A LOCAL FLIGHT TO TEST IT AFTER AN ANNUAL INSPECTION AND HAD DEPARTED CORONA MUNICIPAL AIRPORT SHORTLY BEFORE THE GEAR-UP LANDING OCCURRED TO DO A FEW TOUCH AND GOES. HE STATED THAT HE SIMPLY FORGOT TO EXTEND THE GEAR BEFORE TOUCHDOWN. ALTHOUGH THE AIRCRAFT WAS REGISTERED TO SOMEONE ELSE, MR. SCHUMAN BOUGHT THE AIRPLANE FOR THE PURPOSE OF RESALE THROUGH CULLEN AIRCRAFT, BUT DID NOT HAVE IT RE-REGISTERED IN HIS NAME. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ THIS INCIDENT IS CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
