## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: THE PILOT STATED THAT WHILE REPOSITIONING HIS AIRCRAFT FROM HIS MAIN BASE RAMP TO A CARGO RAMP HE TAXIED INTO A DITCH CAUSING MINOR DAMAGE TO THE PROP AND ENGINE. HE SAID HE DID NOT COMPLETELY CLEAR HIS WINDSHIELD OF FROST. THE PILOT WAS TESTED FOR DRUGS AND ALCOHOL BY HIS COMPANY IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE INCIDENT WITH NEGATIVE RESULTS. HE WAS ADMINISTERED AN EVALUATION BY A COMPANY CHECK AIRMAN WITH SATISFACTORY RESULTS. THE COMPANY PRESIDENT FINED THE PILOT $500 WITH THE PROCEEDS GOING TO CHARITY. THE PILOT ACCEPTED THE ABOVE RESULTS AND COUNSELING WITH A POSITIVE CONSTRUCTIVE ATTITUDE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
