## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON FEBRUARY 2, 1997, AT APPROXIMATELY 1220 EST, MRS. DEBORAH HAGER (PILOT) AND HER HUSBAND LANDED ON RUNWAY 11 AT ST. MARY'S COUNTY AIRPORT (2W6). THE FINAL APPROACH WAS UNEVENTFUL UNTIL THE LANDING. MRS. HAGER STATED THAT SHE THOUGHT THE AIRPLANE MAY HAVE BALLOONED, THEN LANDED HARD, THEN BOUNCED AND CAME BACK TO REST ON THE RUNWAY. THE DAMAGE ASSESSMENT INCLUDES DAMAGE TO THE NOSE LANDING GEAR, PROP, SKIN DAMAGE, AND MINOR FIREWALL DAMAGE. THE WEATHER WAS NOT A FACTOR. THIS MATTER IS CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
