## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: AS THE AIRCRAFT APPROACHED THE RAMP AREA THE FIRST OFFICER WAS ATTEMPTING TO LOCATE THE AIRCRAFT'S POSITION ON THE AIRPORT DIAGRAM AND THE CAPTAIN WAS LOOKING FOR THE "FOLLOW ME" VEHICLE. THE CAPTAIN SPOTTED A VEHICLE WHICH HE ASSUMED TO BE THE "FOLLOW ME", BUT IT WAS ANOTHER VEHICLE. AS THE CAPTAIN TURNED THE AIRCRAFT TOWARD THE WRONG VEHICLE THE RIGHT PROPELLER STRUCK SEVERAL TAXIWAY LIGHTS. AT LEAST ONE LIGHT WAS THEN THROWN INTO THE LEFT PROPELLER.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
