## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: THE AIRCRAFT WAS ENROUTE FROM HOMESTEAD GENERAL AIRPORT TO MCIVORS, A LANDING STRIP IN BROWARD COUNTY, WHEN THE ENGINE STARTED TO RUN ROUGH. THE PILOT MADE A PRECAUTIONARY EMERGENCY LANDING IN AN UNPREPARED FIELD AND THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGES. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. A PULSE LINE TO THE FUEL PUMP BECAME POROUS AND MALFUNCTIONED. THE PILOT-OWNER WILL USE A BETTER TYPE OF LINE TO PREVENT A RECURRENCE OF THIS PROBLEM.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
