## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: UPON LANDING ROLLOUT LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED WHILE AIRCRAFT WAS STILL ON THE RUNWAY. THIS HAPPENED DURING A 14 CFR PART 91 PLEASURE FLIGHT IN VMC CONDITIONS. DO TO A SAFETY SYSTEM BUILT INTO THE DESIGN OF THE AIRCRAFT WHICH IF WORKING PROPERLY SHOULD PROHIBIT THE LANDING GEAR FROM RETRACTING WHILE STILL ON THE GROUND. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ AIRMEN STATES THAT HE DID NOT INADVERTENTLY RETRACT GEAR WHILE REACHING FOR THE FLAP SWITCH. IT HAS NOT BEEN DETERMINED AS TO WHETHER THE SQUAT SWITCH WAS OUT OF ADJUSTMENT OR IF STRUTS WERE OVER SERVICED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
