## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: T-6 LANDED AT EVV AND REQUESTED A 180 DEGREE TURN BACK TO THE APPROACH END OF RUNWAY 22 FOR ANOTHER TAKEOFF AND LANDING. DURING THE RIGHT TURN, THE LEFT GEAR COLLAPSED AND THE LEFT WING TIP STRUCK THE PAVEMENT. TOWER PERSONNEL, WHO OBSERVED THE INCIDENT, SAY THE AIRCRAFT WAS NOT TURNING AT EXCESSIVE SPEED. AIRCRAFT CLEARED RUNWAY WITHIN 2 HOURS WITH FULL WEIGHT BORNE BY GEAR ONCE MANUALLY LOCKED. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
