## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON MARCH 27, 1997, AT 1604 HOURS PST, A CESSNA C210, N2242S, OWNED AND OPERATED BY JOSEPH TRINCHERO OF WOODLAND, CALIFORNIA MADE AN EMERGENCY LANDING AT SACRAMENTO EXECUTIVE AIRPORT WITH ITS NOSE LANDING GEAR UNABLE TO EXTEND. THE AIRCRAFT SETTLED ON ITS NOSE WHEN IT HIT A BERM DURING ROLL OUT ON RUNWAY 20. VFR CONDITIONS PREVAILED AT THE TIME. NO FLIGHT PLAN WAS FILED. THE INSTRUMENT RATED PILOT SUSTAINED NO INJURY. NO NMAC AND NO PILOT DEVIATION WAS INVOLVED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
