## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON APRIL 10, 1997, AT 1930 EDT, A REVOLUTION MINI 500, N88FP, OWNED AND OPERATED BY MR. FREDERICK M.A. PITCHER SLID OFF A TRAILER FOLLOWING A REPOSITIONING LANDING ON THE TRAILER CAUSING THE HELICOPTER TO TIP OVER TO THE LEFT. THE MAIN ROTOR CONTACTED THE GROUND AND THE AIRCRAFT TIPPED OVER ON ITS LEFT SIDE. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED AND THE AIRCRAFT RECEIVED MINOR DAMAGE. THE PILOT MR. FREDERICK M.A. PITCHER, HOLDS AN AIRLINE TRANSPORT PILOT CERTIFICATE NUMBER 1473086. THE SHORT FLIGHT WAS CONDUCTED TO REPOSITION THE HELICOPTER FROM THE SURFACE ONTO THE TRAILER FOR TRANSPORTING. THE PILOT WAS NOT INJURED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
