## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON APRIL 18, 1997, AT APPROXIMATELY 1913 HOURS, A CESSNA, CE-150G, N3710J, OPERATED BY MR. RONALD CAFFREY, MADE A FORCED LANDING ON A STREET IN COLTON, CA BECAUSE OF ENGINE FAILURE. COLTON POLICE OFFICER LORAINE, WHO WAS ON THE SCENE, REPORTS TWO OCCUPANTS, NO INJURIES, AND NO AIRCRAFT DAMAGE. AT 2050 PST, SAN BERNARDINO SHERIFF'S DEPUTIES CLIFF WALTERS AND DEBBIE DURROUGH, NOTED THAT THE FUEL TANKS WERE EMPTY AND THE PILOT, MR. CAFFREY, DID NOT HAVE A CURRENT MEDICAL. THIS INCIDENT IS CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
