## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

LOST PARTIAL POWR. STALL LANDED CTJ. PROP PITCH CONTROL ARM SEPERATED. RECENT ANNUAL. SERVICE BULLETIN NOT DONE. (-23) PILOT LOST CONTROL OF PROPELLER PITCH DUE TO PHYSICAL DISCONNECT AT GOVERNOR CONTROL. HIGH PITCH ANGLE RESULTING FROM THAT DISCONNECT DID NOT PROVIDE DESIRED POWER AND PILOT REQUESTED ATC ASSIST TO NEAREST AIRPORT. DESCENT THROUGH CLOUDS AND ALIGNMENT WITH RUNWAY WAS HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL, BUT POWER WAS INSUFFICENT ON FINAL AND STRETCHING GLIDE CAUSED FULL STALL, HARD LANDING. WING (LEFT) STRUCK PAVEMENT HARD ENOUGH TO CREATE 1-INCH WRINKLES IN TOP SURFACE EXTENDING DIAGONALLY FROM TIP TO TRAIL EDGE.
