NARRATIVE: TWO PASSENGERS AND A FLIGHT ATTENDANT RECEIVED MINOR INJURIES AFTER BEING THROWN ABOUT THE CABIN WHEN MOMENTARY SEVERE TURBULENCE WAS ENCOUNTERED NEAR LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS AT FL350. THE SEAT BELT SIGN WAS ILLUMINATED AND A NOTIFICATION CALL WAS MADE BY THE FLIGHT CREW TO THE CABIN CREW PRIOR TO ENCOUNTER. THE FLIGHT ORIGINATED AT PIT AND WAS ENROUTE TO SAT. INJURIES EXPLAINED AS FOLLOWS: PASSENGER SONYA KIETH STRUCK HER HEAD ON THE CEILING AND SUFFERED A HEADACHE. PASSENGER ROSEANNE WIELAND COMPLAINED OF AN AGGRAVATION TO A PREVIOUS NECK INJURY. FLIGHT ATTENDANT SUSAN PRENDERGAST FELL AND STRUCK HER RIGHT HIP AND FACE SUFFERING INJURIES TO BOTH. DOCTOR CRAIG WOOD ASSISTED THE INJURED AND ADVISED THE CAPTAIN THAT CONTINUATION TO SAT WOULD BE SAFE. PARAMEDICS WERE REQUESTED, AND MET THE FLIGHT. THE INJURED PASSENGERS WERE TAKEN TO NORTHEAST BAPTIST HOSPITAL IN SAN ANTONIO FOR FOLLOW-UP TREATMENT. FLIGHT ATTENDANT LARCINESE ACCOMPANIED FLIGHT ATTENDANT PRENDERGAST TO METHODIST HOSPITAL. ALTHOUGH THE CAPTAIN DID NOT DECLARE AN EMERGENCY, THE FLIGHT WAS GIVEN EXPEDITIOUS HANDLING BY ATC. AN UNKNOWN MALE PASSENGER INITIALLY CLAIMED INJURY BUT LATER DEPARTED THE AIRCRAFT WITHOUT EXAMINATION BY PARAMEDICS. THE AFOREMENTIONED REPORT WAS TAKEN FROM DISPATCHER CHARLES G. LEWIS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
