## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON 05-06-97 AT APPROXIMATELY 0930 HOURS LOCAL, STUDENT PILOT MONICA BABCOCK WAS ON HER THIRD SUPERVISED SOLO IN N46308, A CE-152. ON HER FIRST LANDING ON RUNWAY 31 AT STC, THE AIRCRAFT BOUNCED FOUR TIMES, DAMAGING THE NOSE GEAR AND PROPELLER. THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO THE STUDENT PILOT. THE FLIGHT HAD ORIGINATED AT STC APPROXIMATELY TEN MINUTES PRIOR TO THE INCIDENT. WEATHER WAS NOT A FACTOR. QUESTION AS TO AIRMAN COMPETENCY IS BASED ON AIRMAN'S DESCRIPTION OF INCIDENT. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
