## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: AIRCRAFT WAS BEING PARKED AT MEIGS FIELD, CHICAGO, IL. DURING GROUND TAXI ATTEMPTED TO DIRECT N383AA, BE-90 INTO A PARKING SPOT. THIS RESULTED IN CLIPPING THE WINGTIP OF N769MB, BE-200, ALREADY PARKED. BOTH AIRCRAFT RECEIVED MINOR DAMAGE TO THE WING TIPS. BOTH WERE SUBSEQUENTLY REPAIRED. PILOT COUNSELED BY INSPECTOR CONCERNING RESPONSIBILITY OF PILOT IN COMMAND WHEN TAXIING AIRCRAFT. ALTHOUGH GROUND CREW WAS INVOLVED, ULTIMATELY IT IS PILOT RESPONSIBILITY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
