## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: FIRST OFFICERS LEG TO FLY: UPON ROLL OUT TO RUNWAY 28L AT CMH, FIRST OFFICER BROUGHT THROTTLES TO MAX. AS THE AIRCRAFT BEGAN TO ROLLOUT, CREW HEARD A LOUD BANG. SIMILAR TO COMPRESSOR STALL. CREW THROTTLED BACK LEFT HAND ENGINE. AS THEY EXITED TAXIWAY C-1, NOTICED OIL PRESSURE AND QUANTITY AT ZERO FOR LEFT ENGINE. AIRCRAFT WAS FLOWN BY THE SAME CREW FROM DTW TO CMH. NOTICED NO PROBLEMS. SAME FOR START & TAXI AT CMH. UPON INVESTIGATION OF THE LEFT ENGINE, THE INLET GUIDE VANES, FIRST AND SECOND STAGE FANS AND STATORS WERE SEVERLY DAMAGED. ALSO ONE BLADE TO THE FIRST STAGE FAN WAS PARTIALLY MISSING.. THIS WAS A CONTAINED FAILURE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
