## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON MAY 19, 1997 AT 1400 HRS. MST, N2041D, A BEECH C-35 ENROUTE FROM CHEYENNE, WY. (CYS) TO SALT LAKE CITY, UT. (SLC) PERFORMED AN EMERGENCY LANDING 20 MILES WEST OF LARAMIE, WY. (LAR) DUE TO LOSS OF ENGINE OIL. THE OIL TANK DRAIN PLUG WAS FOUND TO BE MISSING, THE SAFETY WIRE WAS STILL PRESENT. THIS IS A FINAL REPORT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
