## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

CONVERSATION WITH THE AIRMAN REVEALED THAT THE BRAKES SEEMED SPONGY ON PREFLIGHT SO THE PILOT ADDED BRAKE FLUID AND THINGS SEEMED FINE AT THAT POINT. ON LANDING ROLLOUT THE PILOT APPLIED BRAKES BUT FOUND NO BRAKE PRESSURE. THE AIRCRAFT ROLLED OFF THE END OF THE RUNWAY AND INTO A DRY RIVER BED DAMAGING THE RIGHT WING TIP AND NOSE COWLING AND NOSE GEAR. MINOR DAMAGE. THE PILOT ALSO ADDED THAT HE IS LOOING INTO AN UPDATED BRAKING SYSTEM THAT WOULD REPLACE THE OLD DRUM BRAKES. NOTHING THAT THE PILOT SAID HE DID WARRANTS ANY FURTHER INVESTIGATION. SEE ATTACHED PILOT STATEMENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
