## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON 7/8/97 ABOUT 1500 LOCAL, N30215 WAS REPORTED TO HAVE FLOWN THRU R5502A AT 15D AGL AND LANDED AT PUT-IN-BAY, OHIO. PUT-IN-BAY'S FBO HAD NO RECORD OF SAID A/C LANDING THERE. THE LAST KNOWN OWNER WHICH OKC A/C REGISTRY HAS IS: SUGAR RIVER FLYING GROUP, BRODHEAD, WI CERTIFICATE ISSUED 09-16-91. THERE IS NO LISTING FOR SAID "CLUB" OR COMBINATION OF NAMES WITH SUGAR/RIVER INCLUDED ANYWHERE IN STATE OF WI. THEREFORE, INVESTIGATION CLOSED DUE TO PASSERBY ERROR IN "N" NUMBER.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
