## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NO REVERSE THRUST LANDING. GROUND LOOPED END OF RUNWAY TO AVOID PARKED TRUCK. NO ANOMALIES. REVERSE THRUST NORMAL. (-23) THE AIRCRAFT WAS IN THE PROCESS OF LANDING ON AN UNIMPROVED RUNWAY. IN THE PILOT'S REPORT, HE STATED THE TOUCHDOWN WAS MADE IN THE FIRST 200 FEET OF RUNWAY, AND HE LET THE AIRCRAFT ROLL OUT AT A HIGH SPEED UNTIL REACHING THE LAST 1/3 OF THE LANDING AREA BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO STOP. HE ALSO STATED HE MADE TWO ATTEMPTS TO APPLY REVERSE THRUST AND WAS UNABLE TO OBTAINE REVERSING ACTION. IN AN EFFORT TO MISS A CHEMICAL HOLDING TANK, EQUIPMENT AND PERSONNEL AT THE END OF THE RUNWAY, HE APPLIED LEFT BRAKE FORCING THE AIRCRAFT INTO A GROUND LOOP. THE AIRCRAFT SLID SIDEWAYS CAUSING THE RIGHT MAIN GEAR TO COLLAPSE, BENDING THE OUTER PART OF THE RIGHT WING SPAR, THEREBY ALLOWING THE PROPELLER TO STRIKE THE GROUND. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST IN A DRAINAGE DITCH ADJACENT TO THE LANDING STRIP.
