## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: THE PILOT STARTED THE A/C BY HAND PROPPING. AFTER IT STARTED, WHILE WALKING AROUND THE WING STRUT THE PILOT NOTICED AN INCREASE IN ENGINE RPM. THE A/C JUMPED THE CHOCKS AND PROCEEDED TO MOVE FORWARD. THE PILOT ATTEMPTED TO STOP THE FORWARD MOVEMENT BY HOLDING THE WING STRUT WHILE ATTEMPTING TO REACH INSIDE TO TURN THE IGNITION OFF. THIS ATTEMPT FAILED AND THE TAYLORCRAFT STRUCK TWO OTHER A/C, DESTROYING THE EMPENAGE OF ONE. THE TAYLORCRAFT WAS CHOCKED BUT NOT TIED DOWN DURING THE HAND PROPPING OPERATION.

Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
