## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON JUNE 19, 1997, AIRCRAFT DEPARTED WARRENTON, VIRGINIA (W66), ON A LONG CROSS COUNTRY TRAINING FLIGHT, ENROUTE TO RICHMOND, VIRGINIA (RIC). ON APPROACH TO RIC, AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL ADVISED CAUTION WAKE TURBULENCE. PILOT MADE A NORMAL APPROACH AND JUST PRIOR TO TOUCHDOWN, HE FELT A LIGHT BUFFET, THEN A MOVE VIOLENT FORCE TO THE LEFT. PILOT ADDED POWER TO BRING AIRCRAFT BACK TO CENTERLINE, BUT THE PROPELLER CONTACTED A RUNWAY EDGE LIGHT . AIRCRAFT LANDED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. HOWEVER, DAMAGE WAS EVIDENT TO BOTH PROPELLER TIPS, APPROXIMATELY TWO INCHES, AND THE LEFT GEAR FARING WAS DAMAGED. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
