## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(.4)THE PILOT SAID THAT THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME HE HAD FLOWN THE AIRPLANE WITH THREE PASSENGERS. HE SAID THAT HE ALLOWED THE AIRPLANE TO LAND ABOUT 700' FROM THE DEPARTURE END OF THE 3,040' RUNWAY. ALSO, HE INDICATED THAT THE BRAKES WOULD NOT STOP THE AIRPLANE ON THE REMAINING RUNWAY. THE AIRPLANE OVERRAN THE END OF THE RUNWAY AND WENT INTO A CROP FIELD. (-23) AIRCRAFT DEPARTED HOWELL, MI WITH 3 PASSENGERS. ON APPROACH TO FOWLERVILLE, THE PILOT STATED HE CAME IN HIGH AND THE AIRPLANE SEEMED TO FLOAT FOREVER. THE AIRCRAFT TOUCHED DOWN WITH APPROXIMATELY 700 FEET REMAINING. HE THEN USED HARD BRAKING. THE AIRCRAFT OVERRAN THE END OF RUNWAY 9 AND CAME TO REST IN A CORNFIELD 100 FEET OFF THE END OF THE RUNWAY AND SOUTH OF THE CENTERLINE.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
