## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON 07-15-97 DURING A POSITIONING FLIGHT N360 CA'S LEFT MAIN LANDING GEAR RETRACTED PARTIALLY AND JAMMED. ATTEMPTS TO RAISE OR LOWER THE GEAR DID NOT FREE THE LEFT MAIN LANDING GEAR. ALL OTHER GEAR WORKED NORMALLY. ON FINAL APPROACH WHEN THE FLAPS WERE EXTENDED TO 35 DEGREES THE LEFT MAIN LANDING GEAR EXTENDED AND LOCKED DOWN. A NORMAL LANDING WAS ACCOMPLISHED. CREW DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND EQUIPMENT (FIRE & RESCUE) WAS PRESENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
