## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(.4) THE PILOT WAS LANDING THE AIRPLANE AT NIGHT. HE SAID THAT AFTER THE AIRPLANE WAS ON THE GROUND, IT VEERED TO THE LEFT. THERE WAS EVIDENCE THAT DURING THE LANDING, THE LEFT MAIN LANDING GEAR 'ENTERED NEWLY WORKED FIELD.' AFTER ENTERING THE FIELD, THE AIRPLANE CAME TO A SUDDEN STOP, AND THE RIGHT WING STRUCK THE RUNWAY. 'WHEN THE NOSE GEAR ENTERED THE SOFT FIELD, THE PROPELLER CAME IN CONTACT WITH THE GROUND.' INVESTIGATION REVEALED THAT THE AIRPLANE'S LANDING LIGHT AND THE AIRPORT'S RUNWAY LIGHTING WERE INOPERATIVE.
