## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: THE PILOT REPORTED THAT ON APPROACH TO MARIN RANCH AIRPORT (CA35) HE SELECTED THE LANDING GEAR LEVER TO THE DOWN POSITION. THE PILOT THEN REPORTED THAT THE LANDING GEAR DOWN AND LOCK INDICATOR LIGHTS DID NOT ILLUMINATE. THE PILOT INITIATED EMERGENCY LANDING GEAR EXTENSION PROCEDURES WITH NEGATIVE RESULTS. AFTER TWO MORE ATTEMPTS TO EXTEND THE LANDING GEAR BY MOVING THE LANDING GEAR LEVER TO THE UP AND THEN TO THE DOWN POSITION THE PILOT REPORTS THAT THE LANDING GEAR DOWN AND LOCK INDICATOR LIGHTS STILL DID NOT ILLUMINATE. WITH THE LANDING GEAR SELECTOR LEVER IN THE DOWN POSITION THE PILOT REPORTED FLYING TO GNOSS FIELD (056) WHERE MADE VOICE CONTACT WITH GROUND PERSONNEL. THE PILOT REPORTS THE GROUND OBSERVER STATED THE LANDING GEAR APPEARED TO BE DOWN AND LOCKED. THE PILOT THEN RETURNED TO MARIN RANCH (CA35) AIRPORT WHERE HE INITIATED A SOFT FIELD APPROACH AND LANDING TO RUNWAY 22. THE PILOT REPORTED A NORMAL LANDING, THEN DURING TAXI JUST PRIOR TO COMING TO A COMPLETE STOP THE MAIN LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED. INSPECTION OF THE AIRCRAFT REVEALED THAT THE MAIN LANDING GEAR WAS FOLDED APPROX. 30 DEGREES INWARD. THE NOSE LANDING GEAR WAS EXTENDED TO THE DOWN AND LOCKED POSITION. THE PILOT ALSO REPORTED THAT UPON COMING TO REST HE NOTICED THAT THE LANDING GEAR 5 AMP CONTROL AND LIGHT (CONT/LT), CIRCUIT BREAKER WAS IN THE OUT POSITION. THE PILOT STATED THAT HE IS POSITIVE THE CIRCUIT BREAKER WAS ENGAGED WHEN CHECKED DURING HIS PREFLIGHT. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ NO MALFUNCTION AND DEFECT REPORT SUBMITTED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
