NARRATIVE: GEAR WOULD NOT COME DOWN. GEAR DOORS WOULD NOT OPEN. ATTEMPTED EMERG. EXTENSION, GEAR STILL WOULD NOT COME DOWN. BROKE GEAR HANDLE TRYING TO LOWER GEAR. EXPERIMENTAL HOMEBUILT AIRCRAFT RECENTLY MODIFIED TO INCLUDE GEAR DOORS. GEAR DOORS FAILED TO OPEN AND GEAR WOULD NOT EXTEND.
