## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: THE PILOT REPORTS THAT HE EXECUTED THE TAKEOFF WHEN PREVAILING WINDS WERE APPROXIMATELY 5-10 KNOTS OUT OF THE SOUTH. AFTER A NORMAL LIFT OFF, HE LEVELED OFF 5-10 FEET ABOVE THE LAKE TO ACCELERATE WHEN THE AIRCRAFT SUDDENLY STALLED AND THE RIGHT FLOAT HIT THE WATER. THE AIRCRAFT VEERED TO THE RIGHT, THE LEFT FLOAT DUG INTO THE WATER AND THE AIRCRAFT SLOWLY ROLLED OVER. THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO THE OCCUPANTS OF THE AIRCRAFT AND LOCAL PERSONNEL VERIFIED THAT THE MINOR DAMAGE WAS LIMITED TO THE WING TIP OF THE AIRCRAFT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
