## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ABORTED CROSSCOUNTRY DUE WEATHER. ELECTED TAKEOFF LANDINGS GHW. LOST CONTROL TRYING GO AROUND IN CROSSWIND. P FACTO (-23) MR. DOMIER ABORTED HIS SOLO X-COUNTRY (GLENWOOD, MN TO BEMIDJI, MN) DUE TO WEATHER ENROUTE. MR. DOMIER DECIDED TO DO PRACTICE TAKE-OFFS AND LANDINGS AT GLENWOOD. ON MR. DOMIER'S SECOND PRACTICE LANDING HE LOST CONTROL OF THE AIRCRAFT AND CRASHED. UP TO 10KTS CROSS-WIND COMPONENT WAS PRESENT AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT, ACCORDING TO DOMIER. AWOS REPORTS DO NOT CONFIRM HIS STATEMENT. IT APPEARS THAT MR. DOMIER WAS "DEEP" INTO HIS LANDING FLARE WHEN HE ATTEMPTED TO "GO-AROUND". IMPROPER CONTROL INPUTS BY DOMIER (ABSENCE OF RUDDER INPUT AT FULL POWER) CAUSED MR. DOMIER TO LOSE CONTROL OF THE AIRCRAFT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
