## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: N130UE, BE-1900C, BEING OPERATED AS GREAT LAKES FLIGHT 6016 FROM SPENCER, IOWA TO KEARNEY, NEBRASKA REPORTED AN UNSAFE NOSE GEAR INDICATION ON APPROACH TO KEARNEY, NE. THE AIRCRAFT DIVERTED TO GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. COMPANY MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL REPLACED A DEFECTIVE DOWNLOCK SWITCH ON THE NOSE GEAR, AND RETURNED THE AIRCRAFT TO SERVICE. THIS INCIDENT IS CLOSED WITH THIS REPORT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
