## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: THE PILOT STATED HE WAS PLANNING TO LAND ON RWY 28, BUT WIND CHANGED AND HE WAS GIVEN LANDING CLEARNACE TO RUNWAY 10L. THE AIRCRAFT IS ON AMPHIBIOUS FLOATS AND THE PILOT STATED THE RUNWAY CHANGE MAY HAVE DISTRACTED HIM. THE LANDING WAS ACCOMPLISHED WITH THE WHEELS STILL UP. INVESTIGATION REVEALED DAMAGE TO RUB STRIPS ON THE BOTTOM OF THE FLOATS, BUT NO DAMAGE TO THE FLOATS. THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO THE PILOT OR PASSENGER. NO NMAC OR PILOT DEVIATION OCCURRED. THIS REPORT AND INVESTIGATION ARE CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
