## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: WHEN REQUESTING TAXI INSTRUCTIONS, N24RC INFORMED CLE-ATCT THAT HE WAS UNFAMILIAR WITH CLE-AIRPORT, AND HE WAS REQUESTING PROGRESSIVE TAXI INSTRUCTIONS. CLE-ATCT INFORMED N24RC THAT PROGRESSIVE TAXI INSTRUCTIONS WOULD BE PROVIDED AND THAT N24RC WAS TO FOLLOW A CITATION JET. SUBSEQUENTLY, N24RC REQUESTED AN INTERSECTION DEPARTURE AND WAS INSTRUCTED TO CONTINUE FOLLOWING THE CITATION. N24RC FOLLOWED THE CITATION WHICH HAD BEEN CLEARED TO CROSS RUNWAY 23L. N24RC WAS NOT CLEARED TO CROSS RUNWAY 23L AND ENDED UP CROSSING THE RUNWAY 23L HOLD BAR. THIS RESULTED IN NWA FLIGHT 566 BEING SENT AROUND. SEE ABOVE: PIC WAS COUNSELED BY FAA IIC. MR. JEFF KLEINBECK, AGL-505, WAS BRIEFED ON THIS INCIDENT. HE INFORMED THAT THE CONTROLLER INVOLVED WAS COUNSELED AND RECEIVED ADDITIONAL TRAINING.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
