## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: PILOT REPORTED CROSSING THE THRESHOLD AT 70 MPH AND HAD DIFFICULTY GETTING THE AIRCRAFT TO SETTLE. HE THEN ATTEMPTED TO "RAISE" THE FLAPS AND REPORTED THAT THE FLAPS WOULD NOT RAISE. THE AIRCRAFT TOUCHED DOWN LONG ON THE 2500' STRIP AND DEPARTED THE PREPARED SURFACE STRIKING TWO FENCE POSTS AND COMING TO REST. MINOR DAMAGE WAS SUSTAINED TO THE AIRCRAFT NOSEWHEEL AND WING LEADING EDGES. THERE WAS ONE PASSENGER ON BOARD AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
