## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: THE PILOT PUT THE GEAR DOWN AND HAD 3 GREEN LIGHT INDICATIONS. HE RECHECKED THE LIGHTS ON FINAL AND STILL HAD A SAFE INDICATION. HE NEVER CHECKED THE LIGHTS AFTER TURNING ONTO FINAL. THE FIRST INDICATION OF A PROBLEM WAS THE NOISE AND THEN NO NOSE WHEEL STEERING. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST ON THE RUNWAY. NO INJURIES. SUBSEQUENTLY PROBLEMS WERE FOUND WITH THE HYDRAULIC POWER PACK THAT OPERATES THE LANDING GEAR. THE MOTOR WAS SHORTED OUT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
