NARRATIVE: ACCORDING TO A STATEMENT GIVEN BY THE PILOT IN COMMAND, HE PLANNED TO TOUCH DOWN AT THE RUNWAY THRESHOLD. THE RUNWAY WAS OF MINIMAL LENGTH FOR THE TYPE OF AIRCRAFT. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED EXTREMELY HARD, RESULTING IN BLOWN TIRES AND MINOR STRUCTURAL DAMAGE. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ SUBMISSION OF THIS REPORT CLOSES THIS INCIDENT.
