## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

RIGHT MAIN GEAR COLLAPSED UPON LANDING RUNWAY 18R. (-23) THIS AIRCRAFT HAS THE NOSE GEAR CONVERSION BY VOLPAR. WHEN THE PILOT SELECTED GEAR DOWN, THE NOSE GEAR DID NOT INDICATE DOWN OR LOCK. THE PILOT CYCLED THE GEAR. THE GEAR EXTENDED PARTLY, THE CIRCUIT BREAKER ACTIVATED AND THE GEAR COULD NOT BE EXTENDED USING NORMAL OR EMERGENCY PROCEDURES. WHEN THE GEAR IS CYLCED, FIRST GEAR UP, THEN WITHOUT WAITING FOR FULLUP, SELECT GEAR DOWN, THIS PUT A HIGH LOAD ON THE NOSE GEAR CHAIN. THE CHAIN WILL SKIP A TOOTH AND BIND THE SYSTEM. THE GEAR WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MOVE AT ALL USING NORMAL OR EMERGENCY PROCEDURES.
