## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON OCTOBER 9, 1997, UNITED AIRLINES FLIGHT 155 TAXIED SLIGHTLY ACROSS THE 23L HOLD BAR LOCATED ON RUNWAY 28. THIS RESULTED IN AN AMERICAN AIRLINES FLIGHT BEING SENT AROUND. THE INCIDENT IS NOT CONSIDERED AGGRAVATED SINCE IT WAS INADVERTENT AND THERE WAS NO LOSS OF SEPARATION. PIC AND SIC, EACH, RECEIVED A LETTER OF WARNING FOR VIOLATING AN ATC CLEARANCE. THE AREA OF THE AIRPORT IN WHICH THIS INCIDENT OCCURRED HAS SINCE UNDERGONE IMPROVEMENT CONSTRUCTION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
