ONE OF THE PASSENGERS, WHO IS A PILOT TOLD HIM THAT HE THOUGHT THERE WAS A SLIGHT CROSS WIND FROM THE RIGHT. THE PILOT INDICATED THAT THE AIRCRAFT RECEIVED MINOR DAMAGE CONSISTING OF SCRAPES TO THE LEFT FIBER GLASS WING TIP AND THE OUTBOARD SECTION OF THE LEFT AILERON. THE OUTBOARD SECTION OF THE HUB OF LEFT WHEEL WAS DAMAGED AND HAD TO BE REPLACED. THERE WERE ALSO SOME SCRATCHES TO THE ELEVATOR. THE ABOVE DESCRIPTION OF DAMAGE WAS CONFIRMED BY A MECHANIC AT MCCALL AIR TAXI. THE PILOT WAS GIVEN COUNSELING VIA THE TELEPHONE BY INSPECTOR CHET WAITE. NO FURTHER ACTION, CASE CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
