## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON OCTOBER 21, 1997, AT 1630 CDT, MS. ERIKA GIGGEY WAS ACTING AS PILOT IN COMMAND, WHILE GIVING FLIGHT INSTRUCTION AND CONDUCTING A TEST FLIGHT IN A CE-337, N1821M, OPERATING UNDER FAR PART 91 AT ST. MARY'S COUNTY AIRPORT (2W6). THE AIRCRAFT LANDED ON RUNWAY 29 DURING A SIMULATED NO FLAP LANDING WITH THE LANDING GEAR RETRACTED, CAUSING MINOR DAMAGE TO REAR BELLY SKIN AND PROPELLERS. POST FLIGHT INSPECTION REVEALED NO MECHANICAL MALFUNCTION, BUT IT WAS NOTED THAT THE GEAR HORN WAS SET AT AN INCORRECT SETTING. PIC STATED THE GEAR HORN DID NOT ACTIVATE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
