## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: PILOT STATED HE CROSSED 5L, AND HELD SHORT OF 5R. HE POSITIONED THE AIRCRFT SO TO ENSURE THE AFT PORTION OF AIRCRAFT WAS CLEAR OF RUNWAY 5L. (DC-9 CLEARED TO LAND 5R- OTHER AIRCRAFT TAXI POSITION AND HOLD RUNWAY 5L). PILOT WAS COUNSELED, TO CLARIFY CLEARANCE IF NEEDED. REQUEST OTHER CLEARANCE WITH REGARDS TO AIRCRAFT SIZE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
