## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: PRIVATE PILOT DEPARTED RYAN FIELD TUCSON TO COCHISE COUNTY (P33) LANDED AT COCHISE COUNTY AND DEPARTED FOR SOME SIGHT SEEING ON HIS WAY TO RYAN FIELD. PILOT STATED HE KNEW HE WAS NORTH OF COURSE SO HE DECIDED TO LAND AT THE NEAREST AIRPORT FOR FUEL. HE MADE AN APPROACH TO CHANDLER MEMORIAL (L07) AND LANDED HARD ON THE NOSE WHEEL COLLAPSING THE NOSE LANDING GEAR. MINOR DAMAGE. NO INJURIES. INTERVIEWED PILOT AND HE STATED HE KNEW HE WAS SOUTH OF PHOENIX AND NORTH OF TUCSON BUT WASN'T EXACTLY SURE OF HIS EXACT LOCATION. HE ALSO STATED AT THE TIME OF HIS LANDING AT CHANDLER MEMORIAL (L07) HE DID NOT KNOW WHAT AIRPORT HE WAS LANDING AT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
