## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: DURING INSPECTION IT WAS NOTED THAT THE LEFT AILERON AND PITOT SUSTAINED DAMAGE DURING LANDING ROLL. A CLOSER LOOK AT THE LEFT MLG REVEALED THAT A SMALL WASHER WAS FOUND LODGED IN BETWEEN THE LEFT MLG DOWN LOCK. IT SEEMS THAT THE WASHER WAS PICKED UP DURING TAXI BEFORE THE FLIGHT. THE SQ. SAFETY OFFICER HAS PUT IN A REQUEST TO HAVE A SWEEPER SWEEP THE RAMP AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK. BEFORE THERE WAS NO SWEEPER USED AT THE MCGUIRE AFB AERO CLUB, AS STATED BY CAPT. KENNETH J. ORR, 305 AMW FLIGHT SAFETY OFFICER. THIS INVESTIGATION IS CONSIDERED CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
