## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: DURING LANDING ROLL-OUT AFTER LANDING AT SAT, WHILE AIRCRAFT WAS DECELERATING, PILOT HEARD A SCRAPING NOISE EMANATING FROM THE UNDERSIDE OF THE AIRCRAFT AND FELT THE AIRCRAFT TOUCH THE RUNWAY 12R. UPON FURTHER EXAMINATION, IT APPEARED THAT THE PILOT HAD MISTAKENLY PLACED THE LANDING GEAR SELECTOR TO THE UP POSITION WHEN TRYING TO RETRACT THE FLAPS. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE AND WAS FLOWN TO HOME BASE WITH THE LANDING GEAR IN THE DOWN POSITION. THERE WAS NO FIRE AND NO INJURIES TO THE LONE OCCUPANT. THIS INCIDENT IS CONSIDERED CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
