## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: AT 50' ABOVE RUNWAY THRESHOLD, PILOT EXPERIENCED A RAPID LOSS OF AIRSPEED AND A RIGHT DRIFT. THE RIGHT WHEEL TOUCHED OFF THE RUNWAY. THE AIRPLANE PROCEEDED LEFT ACROSS THE RUNWAY AND THROUGH THE GRASS AREA BETWEEN THE RUNWAY AND TAXIWAY. JUST BEFORE STOPPING, THE LEFT MAIN GEAR STRUCK A 3' SQ. CONCRETE PAD WHICH DISLODGED THE LEFT MAIN GEAR, CAUSING THE AIRPLANE TO SETTLE ON THE LEFT WING. WEATHER WAS LIGHT RAIN THAT TURNED INTO A "DOWN POUR WITHIN 2 MINUTES OF GETTING OUT OF THE AIRPLANE."

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
