## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: PILOT, LANSWORTH P. JOHNSON STATED TO MYSELF THAT HE LANDED ON RUNWAY 18 FROM THE NORTH. PILOT REPORTED A SLOW LANDING AT MID-FIELD. HE STATED THE LANDING GEAR WAS ON THE GROUND, BUT HIS TAIL LIFTED AND HEADED TO THE LEFT. HE ADMITTED TO OVER CORRECTING WITH TOO MUCH RIGHT RUDDER, BRINGING THE RIGHT WING DOWN WHICH LIGHTLY SCRAPED THE TIP. MR. JOHNSON STATED THE OVER CORRECTION RESULTED IN THE AIRCRAFT HEADING TOWARDS A SNOW BANK ON THE SIDE OF THE RUNWAY. MR. JOHNSON ALSO STATED HE PULLED THE THROTTLE OFF PRIOR TO HITTING THE SNOW BANK. THE RESULTING DAMAGE WAS TO THE PROPELLER AND A SUDDEN ENGINE STOPPAGE AND SLIGHT SCRAPE ON THE RIGHT WING TIP. THIS IS A FINAL REPORT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
