## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: SHORTLY AFTER TAKE OFF THE LANDING GEAR WAS SELECTED TO THE UP POSITION AND THE RETRACTION SEQUENCE BEGAN. THE NOSE GEAR FAILED TO COMPLETELY RETRACT AND IT COULD NOT BE EXTENDED AGAIN BY CONVENTIONAL OR EMERGENCY PROCEDURES. WE THEN SECURED ALL LOOSE ITEMS IN THE AIRCRAFT, NOTIFIED THE CONTROL TOWER OF OUR SITUATION AND WAITED FOR GROUND MAINTENANCE AND EMERGENCY CREWS TO ARRIVE AND BE POSITIONED. A NORMAL LANDING WAS EXECUTED EXCEPT AT THE POINT OF LANDING ASSURED BOTH ENGINES WERE FEATHERED, THE FUEL WAS SHUT OFF AND ALL ELECTRICAL POWER WAS SHUT OFF. THE TOUCHDOWN WAS NORMAL EXCEPT DURING ROLL OUT THE AIRCRAFT NOSE SETTLED AND CAME IN CONTACT WITH THE RUNWAY ALONG WITH BOTH ENGINE PROPELLERS. WE THEN EVACUATED THE AIRCRAFT AS SOON AS IT CAME TO REST. THERE WERE NO INJURIES AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT WAS MINIMAL CONSIDERING THE CIRCUMSTANCES.

Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
