## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

CAPTAIN RIVERA TAXIED HIS AIRCRAFT, FLIGHT LACSA 691, ONTO RUNWAY 10L FOR DEPARTURE, ALIGNING THE NOSE WHEEL OF THE AIRCRAFT ON THE RUNWAY RIGHT EDGE LINE, NOT ON THE RUNWAY CENTER LINE. THIS PLACED THE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR OFF THE RUNWAY HARD SURFACE DURING TAKEOFF ROLL. TAKE OFF WAS ABORTED WITH MINOR AIRCRAFT DAMAGE AND NO INJURIES. SINCE THE INCIDENT LACSA HAS PROVIDED THIS OFFICE WITH NO INFORMATION ON THE PILOTS, AND NOT RETURNED PHONE CALLS. INCREASED SURVEILLANCE BY THIS OFFICE ON THE OPERATOR AT SAN FRANCISCO, THE RESIGNATION OF THE STATION MANAGER AND LACSA TERMINATING SERVICE AT THIS AIRPORT, HAS RESULTED IN A RECOMMENDATION OF NO FURTHER ACTION TO BE TAKEN BY THE FAA. THIS REPORT WILL BE FORWARDED TO THE COSTA RICAN CAA FOR FURTHER ACTION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
