## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: AIRCRAFT BEGAN DRIFTING TO THE RIGHT DURING ROLL-OUT. APPLIED LEFT RUDDER WITH-OUT EFFECT. APPLIED MORE LEFT RUDDER AND LEFT AILERON WITH-OUT EFFECT. AT ABOUT 15 MPH, LEFT WING DROPPED TO THE GROUND, AIRCRAFT VEERED TO LEFT. PROP STRUCK MUD AND STOPPED. ON INVESTIGATION, IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE "U" BOLT WHICH CONNECTS THE GEAR LINKAGE HAD SHEARED, THUS CAUSING THE LEFT LANDING GEAR TO COLLAPSE. THIS INVESTIGATION IS CONSIDERED CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
